The 2024 Alabama Legislative Session is now entering week 3 and bills are starting to roll through the process. It is time to contact your House Representatives about some important matters happening tomorrow.
HB9 , sponsored by Rep. Brock Colvin, will be heard in committee on 2/28/24 in the House Health Committee.
This bill proports to prevent mask mandates in Alabama BUT it has carve outs for medical facilities or jail/prison facilities in the state. It also fails to stop colleges and universities from masking students.
What does this mean? Medical offices, urgent care clinics, nursing homes, clinics, mental health offices, blood banks, labs, doctor’s offices, hospitals etc. can REQUIRE YOU BY LAW to put a mask on your face FOREVER.
This bill is a power grab by the medical establishment of this state who want to keep you under the thumb of medical tyranny indefinitely.
Health Freedom Alabama maintains that ALL CITIZENS of Alabama deserve to breathe freely from any mask mandate.
First thing this morning, call or email your House Representative AND each of these committee members and tell them:
“HB9 does not go far enough to protect the rights of ALL Alabama citizens. All people should be able to live free of mask mandates.
This bill should simply say: No person has the right to impose a mask mandate upon the person of another. Anyone violating this law would be guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to a $500 fine per offense.
Do not allow carve outs in this bill and add a penalty for those who violate this law.”

SB23, sponsored by Senator Jack Williams, will also be heard in the Health Committee on 02/28/24.
This bill sailed through the Senate and passed unanimously. SB23 stops the sale and distribution of lab grown meat in Alabama.
